Use a cheap tool that holds a miniature tampon lookalike. Push in just past lugs engage area a rotate a few times. Got tool from Workshop Inno.

That area gets quite grubby on my F Class rifles if I don't clean regularly as I lubricate the locking lugs with moly every outing.

I did this just last week.
I removed the stock and then using brakleen fitted with a white nozzle extension, sprayed into the chamber area with the bolt removed and muzzle down resting on an old towel.
All the rubbish was flushed down the barrel and left the bolt lock area spotless.
I gave the outside metal areas a spray and wipe with crc as the brakleen turns the blues areas slightly white plus this provides some basic protection to areas hidden by the stock.
Cleaned the bore and then put the stock back on.
    Done.

I use stainless dentist tools to get in there. I got mine by asking a dentist for used tools being binned after use. They dispose of them regularly.

For the bolt lug recess I use a tool I got from Sinclairs.
It's the lower of the 3 shown on this page .
You have little felts you screw in but I have to cut them smaller to fit into my 3 lug action. It's obviously designed for a two lug bolt.
It's tight in my bolt race and an awkward thing to use. I couldn't really recommend it.

For my smaller action I use a small wire bottle brush (plastic bristles) with a 4x2 patch would over it. This oils dries and cleans the chamber and I bend the tip at right angles to clean the lug recesses.
Again, a rough and ready way to do it. There could easily be a good tool but I haven't seen it yet.

You could just use a chamber brush which are available from most good gun shops (like a normal bronze brush but with a larger head)

Yep, bought the same from Sinclairs years ago but for my 3 lug Barnard it is a hopeless fit. Went with the Tipton from Workshop Inno and it fine. Only issue is the felts aren't well retained and if you are too vigorous they fall off inside the action.

A flexible toothbrush also comes in useful...depending on receiver dimensions and configuration.
