My little 17HMR came with a DPT suppressor, firstly does it even need to be cleaned and pulled apart.
If it does what do I clean the baffles with ?
No info I could find on the web site....

@DPT
I take mine apart and scrub in the sink with a bit of detergent when the missus is away.... Then stick beside the fire for a few days to dry. Only do it every brick or so. Those little pipe cleaners are useful as well.
Most the guys I know either use a good bronze brush through to dislodge the carbon dags and then a kero bath or the cheap brake cleaner you can get at super cheap auto to remove the carbon.
Make sure absolutely dry before firing. Especially if you use the bath!
Anyone tried CLR? It is meant to help remove the carbon build up...

Where would I find the pipe cleaner you'd use to clean a can @223nut?
Sweet cheers managed to find some on trade me. Do guys really clean their centerfire suppressors after 50 rounds? I have never cleaned any of mine and some have had 100's of rounds thru them lol
