Do you use copper remover, with a jag? Or some other method?
I have a 17 cal rod, jag and bronze brush but can't find patches thin enough to go in the barrel. I tried paper type ones but they come off and stick in the barrel.

Soak both ends of a Johnson's cotton ear bud in boretec copper cutter and pull it through the bore with heavy fishing nylon, repeat 20 mins apart until no more blue colour-copper is observed.

Finish with a dry cotton bud.
