Thread: CMMG drop in kits for AR style rifles

Is anyone running the .22lr CMMG drop in kit in their UTAS straight pull?
Or ran one through their naughty AR pre 2019?

How accurate is it shooting .22lr pills through the fast twist centrefire 1 in 7” barrel?

I had a dedicated .22 lr CMMG AR I stupidly handed in as part of the steal back due a certain shop buggering things for .22lr ARs at the time.
When in hindsight I could have kept the barrel, bolt etc as it was not prohibited. But at that stage it didn’t have any platform to fit it to and it seemed at the time anything that was remotely AR compatible was going to be banned.
Now we have the UTAS which is permitted.
How was I to know?
