    Well aware of that. However its nice to have some good magnifacation at times. I may do another with them each on 10x. Your suggestion would feuire the leupold to be set on 6x to compare equally with 56mm on 8x or the 50mm on 7x. The magnified detail of the target and surrounds are where the bigger objective lens gives an advantage in low light, other things being equal.
