Correct way to install weaver qr rings on picatinny rail ?

So I have a picatinny rail, and some Leupy qrw rings.

The slot in the picatinny rail is larger than the crossbar on the qrw rings.

What is the correct way to install a scope in this situation ?

Both rings against front edge of slot, both against back edge, or front against front edge and rear ring against back edge ?

Push both the rings forward towards the muzzle until they both stop on the rail & then tighten.

Scope goes "forward" as the rifle goes back under recoil.

Except with a brake fitted, then advise going one forward and one back to jam it for acceleration in both directions. My scopes move nett rearward with the T2 fitted if not tight !
