    Cracked Firing Pin Holder

While cleaning my bolt, I noticed the firing pin holder is cracked.
If you look at the left of the picture, it runs down the side, across the face to the pin.
Is this a safety issue or just going to cause misfires in the future?
Looks like a new firing pin assembly is in order either way.
Also there doesn't appear to be enough firing pin protrusion at 0.023" which may be related?

The rifle is a Sako 75, IV action.
It doesn't missfire, and the impression on the primer looks normal. Although this is on fire formed cases (bumped ~0.002"), I haven't tried it on new cases.

Looks very straight and perpendicular for a crack. Any chance of a head on photo?

Just above 9 o'clock head on. And in the centre right to left for the side on.

    Huh. Yep, it's cracked...

I dunno, seems an odd material to put there but then it is European. It's been a while since I looked at one of those - can you get that part made locally out of something that isn't fragile?

Edit, I see there are fully stainless factory ones available from overseas, maybe that's an option?
