    Criterion prefit barrels

Looking at the idea of a prefit barrel to replace my model 7 708 barrel. Thinking of going for a 6.5 creedmoor.

Looking for anyone who has an idea on the price of the barrels and if you also need to purchase the nut for it to or does that come with the barrel? and wether there is a choice on the barrel profile or you get just the one profile.

    Cheers

    Criterion Remage Barrels:
    $300 for a stainless 24-26"
    $280 for a CM 24-26"

They fit onto the Rem 700 action so I suppose the Model 7 would fit.

I'm pretty sure those are hand lapped match barrels as well.
Lots of contours available from light sporter all the way up to a bull barrel.
From memory the barrel nut is about $30 on top of the barrel cost.

That was my thought as well so didn't go any further with the enquiry. Steves Wholesale indicated that they will be stocking the profiles/chamberings as shown on their website but could special order any other barrel options on request.
