Hmmm yes I have a Victory, DL and Legacy. May as well have the family. The Victory is just that little bit more refined. Superior walnut stock, more polishing and high gloss bluing. If it’s a work horse wanted then the DL is hard to beat. Nice simple switch barrel as well. Their rings are intriguing. The receiver is machined so the base and ring can sit in two positions. One slightly forward of the other. If you are in cold conditions and wearing heavy clothing the rings can be adjusted to suit. Then in the summer when it’s light clothing they can be readjusted. Superb barrels. Cut rifling. Not many doing this now. Very little copper fouling with them as well. I have Sauers , Coopers etc and apart from my Sauer 90 the S&L’s as as slick as I have.

Looks like the legacy is available in 1-8 twist so its a contender.
