Thread: Current state of folding/retractable stocks?

As the title says, what is the current state of how OAL is measured? Im loath to call around asking arms officers in case they give me different answers like they did a few years ago.

If the case is measured collapsed or folded, then how would you go about importing a folding stock firearm? Would you have to request them to attack a fixed stock to it to make it Acat on import? Or can you import the upper and lower separately?
