I had this ejection issue with my sako a7 roughtech (7RM) with 3-18 vx6hd, sent it to beretta who refused to accept there is a major flaw with there rifles/ejector positions (although Robbie tiffen told me this also) and there resolution was putting it on stilts where it was ridiculously high and laughable, bottom line was they told me you can’t mount the leupold vx-5/6HD scopes on the a7 or 85, wasn’t surprised at the pathetic outcome, it’s basically the size of the turret being the issue aswell, oh and was told there action design was around well before the new leupold so it’s leupold fault... bottom line be very aware of the scope you want to mount, the height of rings before investing thousands, the a7 and 85 possibly 75 also have the design flaw, hope this helps someone out.
Interesting, I don't notice rounds hitting my scope on my 85 finnlight 7mmRm but can see where you're coming from. If you don't cycle it quick it'll drop the brass in the action though.

I had zero issues with my 308 85 either tho my 75 doesnt feed as nice as the 85.

Yeah I don't even view the dropping brass as an issue either.
It's a hunting rifle not a steel gun. Bang, quick reload in case it requires follow up, job done.
