CZ 17 HMR varmint accuracy issues...HELP PLEASE!!!

I have the above rifle, it is shortened, suppressed, bedded and normally an absolute tack driver with hornady 17gr ammo, it does copper foul and the accuracy starts to drop off after 100 or so rounds.

I recently lent it to a mate with a rabbit problem, I also gave him a rod with patches and boretech eliminator, hoping he would occasionally clean it!

He called me recently and said the gun wouldn't shoot, I picked it up and gave it a really good clean, the best I could get it to shoot was about 2" at 50 yards!

I stripped it completely and thoroughly checked and cleaned everything again, I re shot it and even tried the 20gr ammo that it didn't like years ago when I tried all sorts of ammo to find out what it liked, no joy, it is still only shooting about 1.5" at 50 yards.

It has a vx3 4.5-14 on it and Burris z rings on a piccatinny rail, everything is solid.

The only thing I haven't done is shoot it without the suppressor.

HAS ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS WHY IT WONT SHOOT????

It was normally a 1/2MOA gun and I could shoot inside 30cal bullet holes at 100 yards when mates would sight guns in.

Normally they lose accuracy when dirty, I only clean my barrel when it needs it or I'm bored, have owned the CZ but didn't like it so sold it and bought an Anshultz, always dead accurate, sold that for @BRADS Sako just been out this avo and shot 3 rabbits all at about 120-150, one shot kills. Unless mechanical damage I'd say cleaning is the prob, I use a bore snake on mine,

What does the bore look like?
    Tried a different scope?
Is the stock not cracked warped loose screws etc?

Checked the barrel crown? Corrosion from leaving the suppressor on for long periods?

Crown is perfect, stock screws tight and even, barrel floating, I haven't tried another scope, I guess that is the next step although I don't think that will be it. I would love to have a bore scope.
My mate only put 4 boxes of ammo through it. I cleaned it with a brush and patches using eliminator and it was copper free as far as I could tell before I shot it yesterday.
Any idea how many rounds these rifles are good for?

Suppressor left on is not good but doesn't seem to corrode them, 17 hornet corrodes overnight?

1000s in my experience @Happy has just worn one out and he's nearly bankrupt buying all the ammo he's put thru it

Check the scope hasn't got an internal prob, take it off or put it in a benchvice to check its accuracy

Try without suppressor before changing scope. A very Dirty or damaged suppressor can certainly effect accuracy.

I have put over 5 k rounds through mine
If it goes off its either dirty or has fucked the suppresser
It's had probably four of them so far all cheapish though

Mine Has VX 3 very expensive rings
It's had trigger and all sorts of shit done to it and shots 3 in one hole every time the wind behaves

As above when it starts to go off it gets a massive clean then if that don't work a new suppresser does
I m gonna try a DPT next time
