    CZ 457 Price check

I've been waiting to see one of the new 457's in the flesh
My local finally has the .22 American on the shelf but at a stiff 1099$
This is 200 more expensive than the T-Bolt beside it

Is this comparable with what other places are selling for, I was expecting maybe 799-899 but not 1100?

Saw an example of the MTR and the Royal model yesterday. I was impressed with their grouping and their feel. Nice bolt operation. Overall much nicer than the POS 455 Varmint I had. But yes, high ticket price.

The same price as the Tikka T1 and cheaper than an Anschutz or Sako quad, but yes a considerable increase on the 452/455.

IMO there are inprovements over the older models that make it work the price increase.

Yes that what I liked when months ago I read the spec on the 457.
Not sure if it's an accuracy upgrade as my 452 shoots really well.

Do the rings off the 452 fit?

I would not compare the new CZ with a T-bolt. I would pay $200 more for the new CZ all day long.

Yep, same mounts will fit. I got a Varmint model and put a stupidly big scope on it. Shoots great and the trigger is so many light years ahead of the 452/455 design

Depends which model 452 you had, some models are 11mm dovetail and others are 3/8" which is actually 13mm.

Horses for courses aye kinda Depends on the model, I've had a 455 switch barrel ( what a POS ) my 453 Varmint was an awesome shooter ( that I should of never sold ) but was plagued by a terribly agricultural bolt design ( farken horrid thing ) but had a great trigger.

I really like the look of the new CZ 457 AT-ONE that thing looks mint

The T bolt is nice but as with all Browning's never perfect, I'm a big Browning fan so I've learnt to life with their quirky bit's'n'features but apart from the semi ok trigger & short LOP my new 17hmr varmint is a sexy little shooter
