Dealer to try for Sig warranty?

Hi guys I’ve got a Sig 2000 rangefinder with a glitch in display which must be close to being past warranty. Is there a dealer that is approachable with this type of question in NZ? Sound cheap I know but I haven’t used it much and it’s been bloody good and to replace it with something similar looks closer to 1k than I’d like.

Updating the firmware solves some problems. Not sure how bad a glitch you are talking about tho.

Thanks emailed him few days ago and ended up passing on serial for him to check age. Guess he’s still waiting to hear back.

From a bit of looking it appears they are the NZ agent but after emailing Sig they passed me off to Asia-Pacific Sig to ask them for the local dealers details and I haven’t had a reply from them at all. See what happens Monday I guess.

I’m not sure how to do that and it’s not a BDX unit so not sure whether it’s even capable of that. I’m keen on a BDX unit for the ballistics but for the hunting I’m doing currently and any time soon so the budgets not there for a new one. I think the displays actually burning out which from a bit of a look online seems to happen about when they go beyond the 5 year electronic warranty
