About LinkBacks4x or better is only new tech for leupold. Everyone else has had option on 4x ratio for a loooong time even nikko sterling haha. Should be able to pick up a bushnell 4200 2.5-10 for under 500 they are a bloody good scope. Nikon is another good option if you hunt around you could get a weaver supeslam 2-10x42 for the same.
