Delta Stryker HD
New scope just arrived.
4.5-30x56 LRD-1T Mil/Mil (made in Japan) This will be going on my Creedmoor project.
First impressions on build quality are good. Turrets have a firm, positive click with no discernible creep or slop.
Love the locking and indication features, the reticle is excellent.
Comes with sunshade, battery, throw lever and decent lens protectors.
Also picked up some Badger Ordnance alloy rings to hold her steady.

Awesome mate!! had my eye on one. Did you order it form Aus? Highly rated scopes those!

Yeah, I found the new model for $2350 Aus.
I’m living in Sydney for now so it worked out well.
Similar models (Athlon ETR, Cronus) were another $500+ and this rates as well as them. Many reviews have it as on par with the Vortex Razor Gen 2 optically but the Razor has a few better features (mechanical turn indicator, warranty and field of view) and I couldn’t afford the near $4k price tag.
The Badger rings were $305 shipped and are really well made.
Hoping to get out and use them at some stage but work has kicked into overdrive so it may be a while!
They have the Gen 1 model at Precision Defence for $2k (no locking turrets or indicator) and that’s a good deal. Also, they have the Gen 1 model with the preferred hunting ret and a lower profile.

Nice mate, Richard Utting sure seems to rate them very highly, and he plays with some very top end optics

Yeah, that’s where I saw it first.
Was trying to grab a Cronus and his review swayed me to do some research.
They’re essentially very similar but the Delta was easier to source and a fair bit cheaper.
When he said ‘just the right amount of shine’ I was unsure as they’re pretty shiny in most photos. But I see what he means now as in the flesh, they’re very matte and much nicer to look at.
Having said that, I’m really impressed with the initial peek through the scope at the contrast and clarity.
Eye box is very forgiving at the top end.
There is some tunnelling at low mag but not enough to cause an issue as the sweet spot is very nice. In reality I won’t use it on much less than 10 power most of the time so I’m happy with the higher mag having such useable power.
I don’t have an eye for CA but can’t really pick up any noticeable colour shift toward the edges, and the image is clear edge to edge so far.
I mounted it up in the rings and MDT 20 moa rail to check ring height and it’s good to go.
Rings are nice, not too chunky and very impressive workmanship.

Little update to this thread.
It's been a while but loving the scope. Super accurate clicks and been bang on with the repeatability.
One small issue is that at full power it's a little sensitive to line up but easy enough.
It's not a big fan of light shining straight into it (I know most scopes aren't) but the extended shade does an awesome job.
Looked through a NXS to compare and it's much clearer and has better contrast (NF appearing a little dark) but there is a price gap.
My scope caps got ruined when I sent the rig away to get worked on so need to replace those but it's an awesome long range scope.

Loving mine too. Picked it up 2nd hand for a steal.
