Anyone had one from Cameraland NY or other shops?
Any issues with scopes?

Any issues with scopes?
I bought a pair of his demo binoculars - ex shop display. I couldn't find any signs of use anywhere and that's including all the paperwork/boxes etc.
Saved a quite a few $$$$ in the process!
I have no direct experience with Cameraland NY but had a nasty experience about 8yrs ago with a camera outfit on the E Coast of the US. They charged my card for a rangefinder but never delivered the goods. They gave me a huge list of lies on what the state of the order was, etc. It took considerable effort to retrieve the funds. I subsequently found out there are many shonky traders over on that coast. Some of them were selling used items as new.
I suggest you check out as many trader reviews as you can find on any outfit that lists stuff at very low prices. Often they have no stock despite saying "in stock" and are simply onsellers who clip the ticket. Buyer beware...
Same experiance as Popshot. My bino's would have passed as new except the seal on the box was broken. All the manuals/straps etc were still sealed. I've bought a couple of scopes (one on they way at the moment), bino/range finder and spotter off the guys at Cameraland NY and they have been excellent to shop with.
Also got some demo bino's from CameralandNY. Couldn't see that they had ever been touched except seal on box was broken. Would have no worries ordering from them again.
CLNY - have visted them and also ordered online.
Their 'demo' stock is basically out if the box and in the cabinet.
I paid 1/3 nz RRP for a Zeiss scope for the old man.
Will visit again when there in may.
Top shop
Thanks guys. Pitty they wont ship Vortex PST scopes out of the country...
Doug at cameralandny is great deal with.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
I have heard they are quite good
@Spanners how about bit of a write up when you get back and a couple of pic. Will give buyers a bit of confidence
9 days from ordering, to the rural postie dropping off my "demo" Zeiss scope from Cameraland NY. Only difference I could see from a new scope is that the box seal sticker had be relocated. Scope still had factory sticker on it. Manuals etc were still sealed. Once again great service from the guys at Cameraland NY. They even included a free Zeiss T shirt.
I almost NEED to buy something from them now with all these good reports of service......
Yes, they do good service. Have you looked at the NZ post forward option thing?
Yeah they don't ship firearms bits now..
Apparently local price is meant to be good but am waiting on a response...
Been looking for a new spotter and it looks like Cameraland NY has the goods.
