The resin is Bisphenol A number one bad girl endocrine disruptor, banned from baby bottles. May as well cut your nuts off as get that stuff inside you.
The hardener is various amines (the mousy smell) highly toxic to skin contact and there is no good recommended glove type. Even nitrile is only rated for short term contact.
No contaminated clothing must leave the work site.
This will be why they give you such a generous sized paddle to mix it with. Material Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets
The hardener is really light stuff. You mix it 1:9 by weight or 1:2.5 by volume so the resin must be 3x as dense.
How have people measured the components to make it up ? I'm inclined to pour some resin into a plastic tub and weigh it on a powder scale then pour in the hardener to just the right weight. The manufacturer does recommend using the whole pack at once. yeah ... nah. I can see the tubes would be easier to work with but it doesn't actually say 10110. Any advice ?
I haven't used that one, but yes measuring it on a scale is probably the easiest way of doing it. Epoxy is pretty sensitive to mix ratios, you cant put less hardener to make it kick slower. Make sure it is really well mixed
