    I don't own an Alpex but I do have a Zulus. The thing that puts me off the Alpex is the weight, their over a KG before you put an IR torch on. The alpex daylight performance looks pretty impressive but the Zulus is no slouch, I am quite impressed with their performance in both night and day mode. Functions are pretty user friendly and they weigh around 1/2 what the alpex does.
