do all 30mm tube scope all have similar amounts of internal adjustment?

Im having a little difficulty finding the answer to this question, within reason are all 30mm tube scopes around the 3 rotations at 6mil (20ish moa) per rotation?

I have a 3-9x40 vxr patrol that has a 30mm tube and Im wondering if its got the same amount of internal adjustment as the vx5 3-15 or if the magnification range some how allows more elevation (or if its all just tube size)

    No,
Example Burris Veracity 3-15x50 is 70x40 MOA rrp$US984 while the lower grade Signature HD 3-15x44 is 80x80 MOA at rrp$us672.

Travel is influenced by tube width and turret height.

Cheers I was trying to justify a scope upgrade but I don’t really need the extra magnification on a 7mm08

Interesting question. It seems that within reason they are all in the range of 6-8 mil per turn with more wannabe brands boasting bigger numbers. My older 30mm VX3 i is 6. It may have been multiturn once but ive put in the ball bearing . 6 mRad will get a 7mm08 to 500m which is the limit of its lethality for hunting. I think a lot of the nominal adjustment range is often used in compensating for mounting variances. Depending on the age of your eyes 9x might only be enough for 300m . The VX5 is a darn site longer and heavier.

Yea I don’t need more magnification or weight but it would be nice,
One turn revolution give me the ability to reach 650 and adding a 20moa rail roughly gets me one more turn and basically allows to 1000 before I need to use my recticle
It’s squeezing every drop of juice out of it but it’s still light as a feather bieng 3-9x40 on a kimber Montana

Looks like a nice scope. A good step up from its predecessor the VX-1.

I see my airgun scope a Hawke has 6 turns each 6 Mils but only just under 2 turns of elevation is available with my mounts.
