Im not a gunsmith or even a machinist Spanners.Naturally a thread and or crown should be true to the centerline of the bore.

Most barrels have a slight bend in them cameron... Hasnt everyone been trying to tell you that?
It doesnt really seem to affect accuracy at all (much).. In some cases it can be handy to fit the barrel with the bend pointed up to ensure maximum elevation with POIs.
