Does Leica rangefinder 2400r or bino/rangefinder 2700r display angle degrees?

Just wanting to know if anyone using the leica equipment in the title knows if they display the angle or degrees. Cheers.

The 2700 - you refer too
    Is that a Geovid 2700-R ??
If its the Rangemaster (not Geovid Bino) then it does do TBR

Its called a Rangemaster 2700-B if it is that

The 2400r does do angle or "tbr" leica call it EHR equivalent horizontal range (EHR).
When set not on EHR (should not really be using ehr anyway) touch the rear button for range and the front button for angle.

Thanks Blair. Yeah I don't want to use tbr or ehr I just want to range the target get the angle and input into the ballistic software I use. So you would be able to do this with the 2400r?

It is interesting that there is no mention in the 2400R owners manual that the unit will display the actual degrees of angle it is pointed at, it certainly says it will do EHR.
In the 2700B and older 2000b plus 1600B manuals it shows that when the front button is pushed it shows angle followed by temperature and lastly barometric pressure.

I rang Leica in Auckland and asked if it displayed the angle/degrees and the person I was talking to told me they didn't know and would find out, then told me no it didn't display the angle/degrees. I tried a 1000r in a shop tonight and " hello" degrees / angle come straight up.

And manufacturers wonder why we don't read the owners manual.

I think the TBR is the confusion here
TBR in my book is True Ballistic Range (TBR)
Leave this out of the discussion here on Leica

The 2400-R does Equivalent Horizontal Range (EHR)
    This gives
Integrated inclinometer measures upward or downward angle relative to target
Internal barometric and temperature sensors measure atmospheric conditions that can affect bullet trajectory and ballistic arc
Equivalent Horizontal Range (EHR): An algorithm that uses distance and angle to calculate an adjusted range

So it does not have the option of full Ballistic Calculations that can be preset via micro SD card etc
But it gives angle degrees - temp - barometric
