Maybe they are not for everyone, but I certainly like them, as I said when discussing with another member today, there aren't many times where I would prefer more recoil over a very slight increase in muzzle report. That's my 2 cents, certainly not trying to convince anyone else they need one, each to their own

About the only time I'd prefer a non braked cap would be if I was bush hunting where sound is more likely to be reflected back at you.....but then I'm hardly likely to do much of that with my 300prc
