    DPT Fitting

Going to put a can on my Blaser , happy with DPT so will get another but have no experience with them directly actually chopping the barrel and fitting , I’m sure they are well capable but just want to make sure as the barrels are $4k for a new one now , who has had them fit one ?

Yes they do great work. Their crowns are as good as any factory crown.

They have done 3 for me. one was a re crown on a second hand rifle I bought and an new suppressor.
The re crown shrunk my groups by 2/3rd's

    No hesitation in recommending them.

No idea how many I have sent up to DPT to have muzzles threaded over the years, very happy with their muzzle threading & work.

workmanship is great. service I received was average. id called ahead to arrange same day threading as I was coming from out of town. dropped it off 8am they said it’d be a few hours, no worries. didnt hear anything and didnt want to be a pain in the ass, but at 12pm I went back and checked. they hadnt started on it. noone had to told the guy doing the work it was a same day job. so id been faffing around Hamilton for 4 hours while they did nothing. granted they started it right then but I was planning on going to the range later that day before heading into the hills the next day. ran out of time so had to postpone that trip.

if youre doing same day service, dont feel like a pain in the ass going back to ask them whats the go if they havent gotten back to you when they said itd be done
