    DPT Modular Suppressor

I now have one of the new DPT modular suppressors, which arrived this morning.
Finish is a good satin black, comes with instructions on maintainence and wonderfully light.
In fact its the only suppressor I've weighed that was LESS that the stated weight coming in at 183gms.
The much lighter weight than my main greystone suppressor has moved the centre of balance of the rifle (unloaded) back about 50mm.
Being a larger diameter of 44mm it does protrude into the field of vision of the scope but no worse than the hushpro I tested a while ago when it had the neoprene cover on it.

Testing will commence on Friday assuming the strong winds drop by then.

My understanding is there there are 2 sizes available at this time - .22 and .30cals, so I have the .30 as it's going on a .243.
DPT will correct me if I'm wrong.

I wonder how 3 baffles would go on the 243? That would certainly make it short and light.

I've got the 22 sized one.

80 g (and that all 4 baffles) just ridiculous how light it is

No testing yet, rifle still needs to be threaded.

Yep - if I get one i will certainly be trying it with just 2 or 3 baffles to take the sound down to just under the ears ringing / damage threshold (not that they actually ring anymore )

Pics, etc will come on Friday/Saturday after testing.
I'll try 3 baffles for you Tahr, suspect the length and weight savings won't be worth increase in noise afterall it only saves 35mm and 50gm on a can lighter than most things out there.

Yeah. I was thinking length. It still turns a 20" barrel into a 25" one.

    Hi All,

I have two ranges of Modular suppressors, Rimfire and Centerfire, the rimfire is 30.8mm diameter, the centerfire is 44.5mm diameter. currently the centerfire only comes in 22 and 30cal, my next batch run ill expand to 25cal. The rimfire is only in 22cal.

As they are in the picture the rimfire is 105grams the centerfire is 192grams. The rimfire can handle upto 22magnum, the centerfire can handle upto 30-06.
The centerfire can be shortened to one baffle, sound reduction is minimal but surprising good for the length and weight (83mm long and 92grams) each baffle adds 25grams and 17mm to the length.

Its a bit hard to tell in the photo but the bottom centerfire suppressor is 151mm long

DPT. Are you able to do other threads than what you have listed for these? I have an M16x1 I think? Might be M18x1. Thanks

HOw much for a custom can ?

Would like a version of the rimfire can with say maybe the 1st and 2nd baffel of seetl or SS , & a steel thread insert for a small 22 Hornet rifle ?

Would only be used on the Hornet nothing else .

hey chris why not get the 223 version and just remove the end baffles to get the volume but not the length?
