DPT muzzle break end cap results.

Chucked on the dpt muzzle break end cap today and checked zero at 100 yards.
I shot a 3 shot group with the standard end cap, then changed to the muzzle break end cap.
Will put photo of result’s below, but my group tightened up a lot with the muzzle break on, not sure if it is due to it changing the harmonics or if its just me shooting better with the lower recoil. But it’s a big difference. Also spotting my shots out at 500 yards now which is awesome, as had no chance before. it noticeably lessons the recoil. Noise wise, i couldn't notice any difference.
Shooting a tikka 300wsm 165gr norma ballistic tip factory ammo.

I put one on my 300 win mag last week, made huge difference to recoil.

    I put one on my 300wsm and with a 24 inch barrel I didn't notice a difference.

Shortened that rifle to 20 inches and tried the break, what a difference! It's nicer to shoot now than at 24 inches.

Put one on the 7 Rem Mag and it made all the difference to the recoils. Much better.

Would be interesting to shoot a group unsuppressed - just cause, scientific reasons etc etc.

It looks like a radial brake.

I dont have a DPT but have a Maniatis with the similar break attachment, its amazing the recoil reduction and like you said, I dont really notice the noise being any different so its a win win

I’d like to see a test in a recoil sled type device.
If I remember rightly Terminator Products had a video years ago about measuring muzzle brake performance. Maybe he could did the contraption out of the shed and do a test “ With standard end cap and then Muzzle Brake end cap “ same rifle, same ammo .
