Being able to just have a couple of baffles on for bush stuff, versus screwing another couple on for a magnum must be pretty handy. Also, if you shoot 223 on a 1/2x28tpi thread and want to use the guts of the can on a 1/2x20 22lr, all you need is the appropriate threaded bit and you're away. Or, you have a couple of 22 sized baffles and bulk the can up with 2 or 3 6.5mm baffles. Makes a fair amount of sense. I personally don't own one (already had what I needed before I'd laid eyes on a DPT), but I've seen this with @stretch's one, and it's quite a neat solution. If I didn't have any, and had to buy cans for a couple of rifles, DPT is definitely the way I'd go
And if I want to get silly, I can take the baffle stack off my 30cal DPT and add it to my 223 DPT. Just don't do it the other way around.
