Thread: DPT SUPPRESSOR FOR HEAVY BARREL RIFLES

To those it may concern.
Hi everyone, i been looking the threads about suppressors and saw that few people has interest for heavy barrel rifles.
As i also have interest in it i did contact Darren from DPT suppressors and explained about "my" need. He did told me that over barrel suppressor for this kind of barrels are "complicated" to manufacture and it has a very LOW demand in between us, "hunters"(very few because the rifle weight) and steel shooters.
So, he suggest to me that he is happy to produce a "muzzle forward" can to my 7mm Rem Mag.

I already "pre ordered" my can, and if "you" also don't mind to have it as a muzzle forward, please contact him for an enquire and show your interest, he may start a "new line" of suppressors for these kind of calibers and barrels.

Update, Darren can't do over barrel Suppressors for our heavy barrel's, so the option is a muzzle forward.
I am going for it as my rifle has a 24" barrel.

How large is your barrel?

I have suppressed bull barrels before?

23mm and his Suppressors don't go over 22.5

I mean 24" LONG...

How heavy is your rifle.....23mm diameter and 24inches long?

Lol! I thnk I am tough enough to carry it. Lol! Been a tikka it is just over or about 4kg, plus my Vortex PST 6-24 and it is just over 6kg with accessories. But dont worry, I just had a look in some "tac" stock system to upgrade it, so, at least another 2-3kg

Get Robbie at Gunworks to do it, he won't get his panties in a knot over it.

I have a DPT muzzle forward on my .243 1inch dia 24inch long douglas match barrel & its a really good suppressor, was cheap too
