    Dream rifle scope

To go along with the dream rifle thread, what is everyone's dream rifle scope (either currently available or what you wish were available).
I've found myself being pretty happy with existing rifles on the market and don't change rifles very often but go through scopes pretty frequently.

I have two dream scopes that don't exist but easily could.
Between these two scopes I could fit out any rifle I could dream up other than perhaps a super dooper long range target rifle.

2-12X42 <20oz MRAD, with a FFP reticle that is actually usable on 2x, there are lots of LVPOs with nice FFP reticles these days but no decent 2ish magnification scopes.
The 2-12 mag range is near perfect for 99% of hunting situations in my opinion.

3.5-21x50 <24oz MRAD, again with a FFP reticle that is useful on low magnification.
Basically just a little more magnification than a VX6 3-18 but FFP and MRAD.
For use on a rifle that you'll likely use at longer distances than the 2-12 but still very capable of close range work if needed.

I'm using an Athlon 2-12 x 42, and I've got to say for the money I'm really impressed. FFP, a useable reticle on 2x, good illumination and accurate adjustments. The glass is surprisingly good too.

Did I mention that I'm impressed? My only complaint is I'd like a hydrophilic coating like the Bushnell's have.

All the flash, feature-rich scopes are heavy which puts me off a bit. Otherwise, something with a good magnification range (i.e. 2-10x or similar) and light in weight!

I had one of those for a while and liked it a reasonable bit.
If it had better glass and/or weighed a bit less I would've kept it.

Leupold used to do a firedot windage which would be sweet in a VX6 but they discontinued it years ago. its a shame they don't do firedot TMR reticle as thatd be perfect.

The Vx6 is less than 20oz which is fine in my opinion, I not to fussed by the ultra lightweight scopes.

And the other scope I covert would be a high end, highish magnification (16x) BDC reticle for my rimfire.

@MB - you need to look at a Vixen 4-16 x 44 AO with a BDC reticle... It will tick all the boxes.
