    E cat licence endorsement

    What do u have to do to get a e cat endorsement

    Arms Code Section 4: Firearms Licensing | New Zealand Police
    Read up on the requirements.
    There are the forms to download there as well.

    Basically you will need to upgrade your gun security to meet the requirements, fill out application and hand it in.
    Belonging to a club isn't necessary, but will help. As will having referees that are endoresed licence holders.

    If you have a previously A-cat rifle that is now E due to law change, you can apply for free (Normally $206 approx).
    They have given you till June to get your Ecat etc or have it changed to meet A Cat requirements.
