Acted as referee for a friends e in 2016, it had been sitting for 6 months with central districts despite his regular chasing up. Eventually I get a phone call wanting to set up a time for the interview, no prob. At the appointed time I get a phonecall not a visit from an Auckland AO who had been seconded to help clear the backlog in the area.
Prehaps its time they did this again
