UGhhh the system would not let me add the info after l tried to find a photo of the G model l used for a while ,so here is some more info l hope helps -
You need to take the forend off ,remove barrels & take clear photos of proof markings/choking etc ,then take photo of breech face with out barrels attached ,ejectors /extractors & internals of barrels as best you can from breech end with good lighting to show any pitting.
I guided in the UK & this model was fairly popular for rough pidgeon/Wood Cock & Pheasant shooting ,but all the ones l saw had the Old School pointer & birds etc engraved on them ,so this may be a base model FH50 or a live pidgeon gun etc .My guess from memory it will be a 2 1/2 chamber, so a lot depends on how previous owners treated it & roughly around late 1920-30's manufacture.
From memory the F stands for stood for Facile Princips action .The H l think stands for Hammerless Ejector option (can not remember for sure ) as the G model l had a lot to do with stood for - a Greener self-acting or Unique ejector gun.
The models ran 25,35.50,60,70,etc. & stood for the cost in English Guineas as these were sold throughout the Commonwealth through mail order catalogues (so not premium models ).From memory the "The Crown Model" was extra & had Ejectors.G was the top grade they did normally ,but there was a special order L grade they rarely did which stood for the London Pattern Sidelock used & these went for around 3 X the price of the G model.
Not realy sure on value here as never seen one here apart from the horrible Pidgeon guns but you would see the better engraved field FH50 for a 800-1500 pounds in gun shops in the UK in the 90's.
Here is a Link to the Greener site that may help you gat more info -
