    Faulty Backlanzn attachment?

Has anyone had the attachment mechanism shit itself? On my metal (not carbon) one it got loose and sloppy after a bit of work and they replaced the guts for free. Great service.

Then on the last wallaby cull trip I noticed the same thing beginning to happen again and ten the damn thing disappeared altogether off my rifle in the matagouri. So I've ended up with three rifles with the expensive attachments on them and no bipod.

Im thinking it might have been because mine got so much work and a lot of shifting between rifles. Bit of a bugger really but I will just move on.

    Anyone else struck this?

So did the adapter fall off or just the bipod?

Sorry. The bipod. It was the bipod guts that shat itself previously, and I expect again. The adaptor was still there on the stock.

Probably a bit left-field, but have you looked at a trigger stick (tripod version)? Whole different system to what you’ve had - but I went from using the 12-24” Harris bipod to my trigger stick for wallaby trips. Very happy with this technique.

Emphasis on Primus brand trigger stick - not to be confused with a fussier tripod system where you have to clip every connection individually………

    That's disappointing.
I had my heart set on one of those but that puts me off the idea a bit.

Hopefully the Carbon one doesn't have this problem, I was just about to buy one.
@burtonator have you had any issues like this with your carbon one?

Doesn’t sound fit for purpose. It’s not like you’re out there doing tactical barrel rolls and throwing your gear off cliffs.
