    I've usually got several Savages on the rack, currently 4, nothing as modern as the LWT model. They just plain work, some people find them a wee bit agricultural, but they all shoot exceptionally well which is more than you can say for some brands.

    Plastic trigger guard with bolt release is garbage. They spilt where the action screw goes through the stock and effects the safety. Mine would slam fire until i got it fixed

    Mate in Oz just bought one and yes it's now getting weight added,which I did to mates 7mm mag as it was stupidly light with soda straw barrel to boot...pun intended.
