Thanks for that, it’s a pretty steep price for what it is IMO

After a week crashing around the Tauraruas I’ve concluded I need something both substantially lighter and shorter than my 6.5x55 tikka

I’ve been looking at straight pull AR platforms but I’d would have to be minimum 300black out or 7.62x39 to deal with the scrub varying distances around the 960m mark and on the tops and currently i haven’t been able to track down anything suitable, or under 4500$

The FIMS stood out, although a bit heavier you have a longer barrel in relation to OAL and a preferable calibre, a real multi purpose tool.

Warwick is a bother option, but again lots of investment for gains
