    Finally decided and purchased

Hi guys, after some research and looking at other offerings, such as Kimber etc. I decided to buy a .270 Sako 85 finnlight.
Has the Sako Optilock rings attached and currently has a Burris Fullfield 4.5-14x44 sitting on top. Looking to upgrade that later on.
Also got some Hornady Superformance 140gr SST to try out and keep the brass for reloading. Will let you know later how she shoots. Name: IMG_1668.jpg

Very nice! Everyone should have at least one Sako in the safe.

There seems to be a bit of interest in the 270 at the moment. And rightly so.

Good advice... play with loads and you have a 7mm08, 280 and 7mm rem mag in one rifle

Yes, and Probably the most overlooked fact ever when deciding 'what calibre to buy'

Just think how much money and grief would have been saved if that's the only chambering we could purchase here.

Tho your 7 08 will have a really really long action and stupid expensive brass.

I don't see the point in down loading anything. Buy a smaller cal/case if you want it slower less recoil.

You have to move the bolt a little further, your wee arm won't fall off mate.

And downloaded brass, annealed often -would last forever, making it cheap.

Nothing in brass costing for Norma, only bit more powder. Cases would last been soft load over into 08 load. . .

One gun does everything is the point get to know how it ticks an use it like a extended body future and get confidence
