Thread: Finished just in time..........

Well last year I decided to rebarrel my Remington, sticking with the .284 calibre. I got Scott Trail to put on a new Hardy's barrel that looks bloody good.

I then sent it off to friend to do some load development for it. We settled on a load using Hornady 139gn SST's. These are doing 3070fps and are shooting half an inch groups. I used to use the Interbonds and would have preferred them, but these SST's were more accurate and accuracy is the name of the game.

So I went and picked the rifle up only last night just in time for the weekend. Now its off to National Park to a) Try to knock over a stag with it and b) Not get shot by a loopy in the bush.

Fingers crossed for both.
