@ChrisW
Are there any 6.5x55 in stock yet ?, Wouldn't say no to a set trigger if that was available.
Cheers

Good thing you got a blue handle:sick:
Finn 11
when I first saw it.
Maybe I'm seeing things:beer::beer:
I could never do the cryptic crossword, used to frustrate the hell out of me as some of my more intelligent mates seemed to have no problem with it.
Guess I'm just dumb eh.
I guess he’s referring to it saying eleven rather than two, but I know what your talking about.
Nah,I have figured what @madjon_ has said
And yip he's right.
They are going to be bloody expenny from what I saw the other night!...
Great, thanks.
How soon would you be expecting a 6.5x55 @ChrisW
Cheers.
Blame the number of people who buy it over the swede :)
Just shows how out of touch Beretta nz is... :D
Your a Dreamer mate :)
The calibers selected are based off sales reports across many different models, and thousands of sales (of guns that are offered in 6.5x55), but people vote by buying other calibers.
Like it or not the 6.5cm outsells the 6.5x55 by a huge margin. Any gun company can tell you that. So does the .243, .308, 7mm-08, 7mm rem mag etc etc.
I have nothing to do with purchasing, but I shall make the suggestion that we should have some in the swede :thumbsup:
PS Im a fan of the 6.5x55, I have a 1910 swede...beautiful gun.
I can remember being in Hunting and fishing in Dunedin many years ago and asked for a Sako in 6.5x55,obviously i don't remember word for word but went long the lines of "What do you want one of them for terrible caliber come look at this much better Caliber etc etc.
Needless to say i walked out empty handed
Rang Lindsay Duncan in Shooters World Gore he sold me an 85 Finn light in 6.5x55 and was happy to do it.
People can't buy them if they aren't in the shops and are steered toward other things.
I believe the Toyota Corolla is the best selling passenger car in this country if not the world, however I know far more people with 6.5x55 caliber than I do with a Corolla.
But never mind Chris, if you haven't got one then I can't buy it, my wife if she knew, would thank you for saving us 4.5k.
It’s all a matter of weighing up options. Keep in mind finnlight 2s are not exactly cheap , it’s not like holding different size tshirts on the shelf - all we can do is go off what people buy.
We would probably have the vast majority of other models available in 6.5x55.. but as you say if shops don’t put it on their shelf , and want to move stock they physically have on the shelf(which makes sense from the shops perspective, not that I think that’s good practice ), as opposed to buying in a new gun then there is not much we can do about that .
That’s why I chose that handle mate [emoji16]
On a side note they have 4 carbonlights in 6.5x55 atm...

There's several reasons why the 6.5 CM is more popular than the swede in the U.S. and also growing in popularity here too. Mostly though it has do with available factory ammo. Most of us tend to forget that most hunters don't reload.
Here he goes Captain bloody sensible ruining a perfectly good wind up thread with facts.:)
What we should all have is a 6.5x65RWS, there would be no need for anything else here... well maybe a 6.6x68, and a lever gun in 444 and probably a 9.3x62.. well heck.
