Scope shouldn't fog internally, just dew on outside. I don't bother with caps, just wipe it when it needs it. Some people scrunch up toilet paper and push it in against the lens, then just flick it out when needed...but once again I've never bothered.

Suppressor are fine in the wet. You can tape the end the same as you mentioned for a barrel. Sometimes I do, most of the time I never bother.

Just go and enjoy, you'll have a great time and don't stress about things that could happen :-)
