    Firearm Valuations

    Apologise if already been asked/covered
I need to get my Custom BAR valued according to Cameron Sports who imports Browning
Was hoping on some assist from them and Belgium customs factory - but appear to have hit a wall

Is there Gun/Rifle Valuer’s out there and how would one go about doing it ??

Drop a zero and I be happy
But it should be more going on research on USA Forums etc
I might as well queeze as much of my 40 odd years Tax payments back to me as I can

It's more about - how do I do it - take it to be looked at and thats the last time I see it ???
Then take what they offer ??

Surely must be others in same boat with something not standard and $$ stated ??

Take pictures of it and give them to the press on USB drives when you go in. Bring it in a transparent case and show it to the journos on your way in. Let them see where the horse is pulling us all.

I know its value in the States or back in Europe - but I need something form here in writing I imagine to make sure I not get screwed by someone who prob just not means to but just does not know what he is looking at.
Will try myself to get clarity from Belgium with its serial # - as I was told only 50 were made - in that engraving I presume ???
Again - I also in the dark a bit and never thought that one day would need to know its "true" value

Anyway - will keep you posted maybe be my shout oneday ??
Or maybe just another bitch and rant :-)

Isn't there supposed to be a list of police approved valuers for this process? and a list of police approved gunsmiths for any modifications needed.

Its not a practical rifle for me anyways - hence its never been used
Wife bought it for my birthday a few years back - saw me bating over it and went and bought it off a Finnish guy
So - it can go and I will replace with something bolt in classic style - something else to prob just bate over :-))

So the GVT pimple might as well get squeezed for all its worth - especially to punish destroying such a work of art

Yes Im not surprised, but i would be waiting for that list. Little point in getting a valuation only to be told its not accepted and to get another from an approved valuer.
