About LinkBacksSwedish mauser, 6.5x55, you may have to fix up earlier owners' poor attempts at sporterising but I'm thinking it would be one of the cheaper ways to lay your hands on something that is fundamentally sound. Nice calibre, would suit your requirements I think.
