Very true but there's more blood to follow when they use a decent gun
    Sorry it's deeply rooted hate
I do hope one day you'll see the light

If people use a quality round with a well constructed bullet then the .270 will be as effective a caliber as any other on the hill.
Poorly constructed and cheap (usually 130 grain) bullets that suffer premature blow up and jacket separation are where the problem is with the .270...not the caliber!

I'm now glad I missed out on your hunt offer, was going to bring my .222.

No, like with any calibre the right bullet in the right place, all comes down to me getting it right.

The rifle in my photo is a .222, I've lost a few animals with it due to poor shot placement because my finger was getting itchy

Use my 223 a lot, have be patient and wait for a good shot, makes you a better Hunter in my opinion. Anyone can blast both shoulders out with a canon as soon as they see an animal

I thought if you shoot deer with a 223/222 it was mandatory to be a hard core head shooter?

You'll be happy to know I'm under strict instructions from the old man not to anywhere near a .270!
