Possibly a good pest control gun, but you would be into big money once you put a thermal on it. Would almost be worth trying to get a P endorsement for a real AR.

I'd say the only real use case would be small landholders with goats who don't qualify for a P gun. Although 22 mag is not enough for goats IMO.
