Thread: Flush fit mag for a BLR?

Have a mint blr with the old mag that sits about inch and a half below the action,how hard would it be to cut it down to close to flush fit?no other mag I know of fit the pre 81 blr.anyone have the skills to cut it and it it?dont mind if it only holds 2 rounds . Thanks

Might have a spare in the works,not willing to cut the original even though arthur says it can be done..

Those extended Mags are worth half the price of your gun. If you want a flush fit sell the whole rig and buy the 7mm08 advertised on here.

My understanding is that is a pretty fair price depending on condition. Good ones can go for a lot more, if you can find one.

Yes that is the one. Pretty easy to see which is the spare.

Mine is 1234k73 so made in 73 to date yours it’s the last two digits after the letter
