I dunno, why dont you try it and write up a report?

I allways think that Ill send my TF barrel back to gunworks to get fluted, but Im allways too poor. and right now It works well, last time I mucked around with that rifle I had to get a new barrel put on. so Im alittle aprehensive

Right on bill.... Im aprehensive towards touching something shhoting as well as this.... Its shooting 0.2mil groups or less right out to ovet a km when I do my bit....
So fluting against a barrel heavy imbalance is a risk in one respect!!!

oh in that case its gaurenteed to go wrong. murphy is a cunt.

my sako 75 shot .5inches at 100m with winchester factory. shorten and suppress it and it wouldnt shoot less than the size of an A4 piece of paper at 100.

    oh did I cry

I had Grant at trueflite do this one, Truelite 1:9 twist that had 400 rounds through it before getting fluting done. It still shoots 0.5MOA all day long, so no issues there.

It didn't effect this one, my 1st 7mm 375 Ruger ex factory SPSS 7mmRem mag with quite a few rounds through it before it was rechambered.

I look at it this way. My factory barrel will shoot good enough for now
If it makes it shoot worse then thats the excuse i need to get a aftermarket barrel.
