Thread: foggy scope

A quick fix is to gently warm the scope say in hot water cupboard for a couple of days until the fogging has all evaporated. Steal a bottle of Mrs clear nail varnish and apply a thin band of this around the edges of the lenses against the scope bells. Let dry. I used this many times when bush bound hunting for long periods of time. The fix works pretty well sealing out moisture.
