@Ginga has a good Kimber 243 ready to roll.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

A couple of the magazines did write ups on them a while ago. They got very good reviews.
I think @Dr. Watson has had a crack with one.

Had a play with one before I ordered my finnlight 243, the $400 was well spent imo Rob the Forbes was rough as guts.

It's not a dangerous game rifle, doesn't need to be smooth, it's super light and accurate enough for a hunting rifle. Most lightweights have sloppy binding bolts as a lot of the material/bearing surface has been machined away. It is what it is

For the price of a forbes I would be expecting the action to be smooth. And if being lightweight is at the cost of a smooth, reliable action then I don't want their version of lightweight.

How can you give someone shit about owning a 243? Every mention of the ultimate cartridge only makes it better.

Fair enough, obviously it's not the rifle for you. Haven't heard of any reliability issues with them.
