Forgotten weapons.. Worlds biggest Black powder cannon

I was watching some of this guys stuff on youtube. A lot of what he does is actually very interesting. He did this ne on a 100 ton cannon in Malta and goes through the whole thing with loading, firing etc from the magazine.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKmi0PN7LxM

If you are into Black powder it is quite staggering. 1 ton projectile fired by 200+ pounds of BP repeatable every 6 minutes. Range of about 5 to 8 miles....

Has anyone else spotted things of interest in his videos.

The ones on the Madsen / Rasmussen rifles were rather interesting too.

(What makes it humorous to me is he looks very much like a hunting buddy of mine except Ian (youtube) manages to do this without lusting over the rifles....

Watched that one the other night. Very interesting as are most of his vids.
Must have watched maybe 20 or more of his to date.

His live fire ones are great particularly his machine gun ones.

Also the one he did on the working replica of the Stg 44.

I am a big fan of the Swiss K31. He did a few shooting comps using one of these.

Yeah he makes some fantastic content, I go down some deep internet rabbit holes after learning about things on his channel

the Junk guns and why they dont work are just as interesting a watch as the professionally made

Made famous in the Thompson SMG. Until they realised it worked just fine with straight blowback... AND that it anyway stopped working as soon as the gun innards got a bit dirty. Fascinating how it was discovered with low power loads in naval guns. The SMLE bolt handle jumps somewhat higher with low Trail Boss loads too.
