Yep you are correct Theresa with my suppressed shotguns I don’t retro fit. We get set up for a gun and just supply new modified guns

MAYBE there is small market for a different slip on suppressor that isn't rifle specific??? One that will slide onto any barrel without foresight and clamp in place??

I've threaded enough .22LR barrels to know that they runout so far that I wouldn't like to use a slip-on. It's quite interesting how well one of mine shoots compared to how bent & offcentre it is.

I don’t even run a suppressor on my Brno anymore just shot subsonic ammo,it’s quiet enough,just use suppressor on my short barrel 10/22.

What if youve got a kit ready to go for some of the popular rifles people might do it to. Jw springs to mind....

Thanks for the suggestion but I prefer to supply a new gun complete, 1 it can make the package more competitively priced as I can get the gun wholesale. 2 the minute you touch someone’s second hand gun you instantly inherit and own all the faults it had before you got it


Also the primary reason I wouldn’t want to touch semis, various issues can arises quite often with ammo/brand sensitivity but of course you would be responsible

To answer your original question, if I was putting down $900, an extra $300 to ensure that I was getting something good, would be a no brainer, but as others have said, there is probably a limited market.

I bought an ISSC straight pull several years ago, I had it chopped by 100mm and a bushing made up to fit my .223 suppressor. At the range, people ask if I am dry firing.


If you could make a full length suppressed howa mini (or similar) that fired 9x19 (call it the modern worlds answer to the De Lisle), that is something that doesn't have much competition.

Another potential option if the gun is strong enough, would be a 9mm barrel to go with your suppressed .410, like a 9mm/.410 version of the Rossi matched pair.

I used to have a integrally supressed 10/22 and it was the ducks nuts, worst of the noise was projectile impact and the clacking of the bolt sliding back over the FCG back into the buffer, downside was the henious price tag

If I was to go down that route again for a bolt gun I’d probably find a Brno 2e or early JW15, rock solid, and we all know they are robust and accurate, they are either bad out of the box, or can be remediated into good shooting rifles with a tickle up

Another semi option I would look into getting converting would be a browning SA-22 as it could be split in half, and the suppressor would form the hand guard, so would basically split into integrated suppressor, and action/stock with the tube mag captive at the rear.

The one advantage to that would be being able to have it offset lower like a delisle, and maximise retail for gas dispersion.

Im sure there are more normal and less eccentric options for semis.

One problem with shortening some semis you have to play around with the springs to get them to cycle properly. It is doable tho just a lot of mucking around

I like ya thinking browning like that yeah I would be into that

The 10/22 take down would be worth it as well. Actually ruger in the USA sell a fully suppressed version with the tax stamp.
Or at least has one.
