    Gadgette #3 hits the range

Finally took gadgette #3 for her first trip to the range now she has settled down a bit. Took the wee Marlin 795s and some subs and after sighting the thing in with the subs it was time to set her down for a crack. So her first crack with a 22lr produced 13mm 5 shot group at 25m. All right you little squirt, lets see how you go when we push you out a little further.

MattyP pushed the 25m target catcher out of the way while I grabbed some more ammo and loaded up another mag. The first couple of groups weren't too flash, then I noticed she was using her right eye (another leftie) and her head was way too far back from the scope. So I moved things around a bit and got her looking a lot more comfy. Next group was 22mm, then a 30mm group at 50m. Not too shabby for a first effort.

Think I'm going to have to nobble the gear for these girls, they're showing me up.

Either that or an assortment of rounds.

    You should be proud GM.

GM, leave those scope rings alone! Sounds like the lefty girls outnumber you already

When they get a bit older, you should consider taking them down to your local fullbore NRA club. We have several ladies competing in Welly, and one of the top shots (male and female) is a 17 year old young lady. She was in my squad last weekend, did extremely well.
